Checking and Repairing

Sometimes problems can occur in a database, such as corrupted tables and references that can interfere with website functionality. For such cases you have the possibility to try to solve such problems via the user interface.

This is how you check and repair a database:

1. Log in to the Hosting Administration

2. Go to the Websites & Domains tab > Databases > Verify and repair option in a Database Tool pane.

3. If problems are found, click on the link View details and solve.

   Now a list with tables and the corresponding problems opens. For MySQL databases, you can select the tables you want to repair. With Microsoft SQL databases, only an entire database can be repaired.

   Click Repair Selected (for MySQL) or Repair (for Microsoft SQL).
