What is an SPF entry?
An SPF record is a TXT record stored on the DNS server for your domain. With an SPF entry, you tell other mail servers which IP addresses are authorized to send mails via your domain. An SPF record is therefore a protection against spammers who abuse your e-mail address. By default, FireStorm adds an SPF entry when a domain is activated. This SPF entry looks like this:
[code language="bash"] domain.tld 86400 IN TXT "v=spf1 include:spf.firestorm.ch -all" [//code]
