Back up emails locally and create a backup

To back up emails locally on a hard drive, download the IMAPSize software. You can then install the software and enter the access data for the mail server. The tool downloads each email and saves the email in EML format on the hard drive. The files can be copied to a USB stick and opened with any email programme or text editor. Alternatively, there is the Mailstore software. This software can also be used to archive emails.
