Do you manage domains for your customers? As a Firestorm domain reseller you benefit from automatic volume discounts on more than 900 extensions and receive one clear monthly statement instead of many individual invoices.

Discount tiers

Your entire active domain portfolio at Firestorm counts. Classification happens automatically on the 1st of every month:

• from 50 domains: 5% off the list price
• from 100 domains: 10%
• from 250 domains: 15%
• from 500 domains: 20%
• from 1000 domains: 25%

A minimum price applies to certain extensions (depending on registry fees). Automatic classification can only improve your prices, never worsen them.

How collective billing works

Your domains are renewed automatically and billed collectively: in the following month you receive one clear invoice covering all events of the previous month.

In your customer account under Your products, Domainreseller you will find your overview, organised in tabs: your prices per extension, upcoming renewals with date and price, the items earmarked for the next monthly invoice, all previous statements and expiring domains. Every domain name links directly to the domain management page, and the overview shows at a glance whether your credit covers the renewals of the next 30 days.

Cancelling domains

You can cancel domains up to 2 days before the expiry date; the domain then expires on its expiry date and no longer appears on any invoice. If you cancel later, the new year is still billed and the domain remains active until the next expiry date.

Notifications and automatic URL call

In the Einstellungen (settings) tab of your domain reseller overview you control two e-mail notifications: the credit alert (enabled by default) informs you when your credit is not sufficient for the domain renewals of the next 30 days, and the event notification summarises new renewals, registrations, transfers and cancellations in one daily digest e-mail.

For automated processing, for example billing your own customers, you can additionally store a URL on your server. Firestorm calls it for every event with fixed parameters:

event is renew (renewal), new (new registration), transferin (transfer to Firestorm), transferout (transfer to another provider) or cancel (cancellation). expiry is the new expiry date, or the last day for cancellations.
