Ubuntu upgrade as a service

FireStorm offers an Ubuntu upgrade service (from version 18 and higher) if your server is outdated, needs an ELS (Extended Life Support) license or no longer supports certain modern features. Alternatively, you can also update the server yourself. Just follow this link.
Of course, we are also happy to carry out the upgrade for you. Unlike a new installation, you will retain your data. Please note that the system files will be overwritten during the update. If possible, we will also transfer the old PHP versions immediately. This service takes about 4-6 hours and requires several restarts, which can lead to short-term interruptions on your server. Due to the time involved, the upgrade costs 250.- once.

After the update, all manual changes to system files are reset and your server is then up to date with the latest software version including all updates. Depending on the Ubuntu version, certain functions in Plesk will no longer work.
