Open the Website Builder in Plesk

The FireStorm Website Builder is included in every hosting package. You don’t need to install anything or order anything extra – you’ll find it directly in your Plesk account. This guide shows you step by step how to open it.

We use the domain musterdomain.ch as an example. Replace it with your own domain in the following steps.

Step 1: Log in to Plesk

Go to the address of your Plesk panel and log in with your credentials. If you’re not sure how, take a look at this guide: Log in to Plesk.

Step 2: Open Websites & Domains

After logging in, you land on the home page. Click “Websites & Domains” in the left navigation. You will now see all domains that belong to your package.

Step 3: Select your domain

In the list, find your domain – musterdomain.ch in our example – and expand it.

Step 4: Start the Website Builder

Switch to the “Get Started” tab and click “Plesk Web Builder”. If you have never opened the builder before, you’ll now see the choice between the AI Website Generator and template selection. If a website already exists, the editor opens directly instead.

Step 5: Edit your website

Choose “Template selection” and then pick a template you like. The editor opens right away, and you can design your page with your mouse: drag elements from the sidebar to where you want them, click text to edit it, swap out images.

Step 6: Publish your changes

At first, your changes are only visible to you. Only when you click the rocket icon at the top right is your page published and appears on your website. This lets you work at your own pace, without visitors seeing a half-finished page.

Frequently Asked Questions

I can’t find the Plesk Web Builder.
Check that you’ve opened the correct domain. If you have several domains in the same package, each has its own area. You’ll find the tile in the “Get Started” tab of the respective domain. If you still can’t find it, contact our support – we’ll enable it for you.

I already have a website. Will it be overwritten?
Yes. The Plesk Web Builder stores its pages in the same place as your existing website. If you already have a website – for example WordPress or a site built by a web designer – back it up first or contact us. We’ll create a backup for you before you start.

Can I try out the builder without anyone seeing it?
Yes. As long as you don’t click the rocket icon, your current website stays unchanged and online.

Do I have to pay extra for the Plesk Web Builder?
No, it’s included in every FireStorm hosting package at no extra cost.
