SiteSeal

A TrustLogo is a graphic that displays the data of the certificate holder and the status of the successful examination by the certification authority in real time when clicked (in the case of silver and gold, even when touched with the mouse), thus creating a higher level of trust. This is particularly recommended for online shops, especially if the buyer group is rather reticent, for example if particularly favourable prices or sensitive products are offered. A SiteSeal, on the other hand, is a simple graphic that you can place on your website to alert your visitors to the use of SSL technology and authentication by a Certificate Authority. In contrast to the TrustLogo, the SiteSeal does without dynamic real-time checking, but can be absolutely sufficient for smaller or normal online shops. The possible SiteSeals are shown on our SSL product page. While with Lite and Bronze you only get the displayed graphic for any placement on your website, with Limitbreaker you get a code to dynamically generate the graphic. In contrast to the TrustLogo with Platinum, however, only the domain and not the identity of the certificate holder is reproduced here.
