Connect to Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a free Google service that shows you how visitors use your website.

Google has discontinued the old tracking IDs in the format UA-1234567-1 (Universal Analytics). Today you connect Google Analytics using the Google tag.

Copy the Google tag

1. Log in at https://analytics.google.com/ or create an account there.
2. Open Admin > Data streams > Add stream > Web.
3. Select Install manually and copy the Google tag code.

Add the Google tag in SiteDesigner

1. Open SiteDesigner.
2. Click the menu and then, at the very bottom, <> Head/Body scripts.
3. Paste the copied code into Head scripts.
4. Publish the website so the change goes live.
