Two-factor authentication

To activate the 2-factor authentication, log into the web administration at admin.firestorm.ch.

1. Download a 2-factor authentication app to your mobile phone such as Google Authenticator for Android or Google Authenticator for iOS
2. Open the menu My Account and then Security settings.
3. Now confirm the activation under CLICK HERE to ACTIVATE. Follow the wizard and scan the QR code.
4. The installation is then completed. Every time you log in you scan the QR Code with your app.

Is two-factor sign-in mandatory?

Yes, every customer account and every user is automatically protected by an additional step, you do not need to set anything up for this. Anyone who has not set up an authenticator app receives a code at their email address when signing in from a new IP address, see Sign-in from a new IP address. With the authenticator app, the code is requested at every sign-in. This is the stronger protection and is recommended for all users.
