Web statistics Adjust password

On newer hostings, the web statistics (under /plesk-stat/) are automatically protected with a password. On older hostings, the statistics may still be publicly accessible. With these instructions you can set up the password protection in Plesk or change the password.

1. Log in to the admin interface.
2. Then open services and click on the desired hosting.
3. Scroll to the bottom and click on Plesk under Login.
4. In Plesk, click on password protected directories under the desired domain.
5. Click on the directory /plesk-stat. If it is not listed, your statistics are not protected yet. In this case, add the directory /plesk-stat as a password protected directory on the same page.
6. Edit the existing user by clicking on the user name or create a new user.
