Move an Exchange ActiveSync account

You have a new hosting and want to transfer your EAS account including mail, calendar and contacts? Then follow these easy steps

1. Transfer emails with the Plesk mail import

1. Log in to the web administration at admin.firestorm.ch
2. Open the corresponding subscription in Plesk.
3. Click on Mail and then select the Email Import tile
4. Now fill in the form. First the login details of the source server. Then you can enter the new login details
5. Then click on “Show advanced options” and fill in the following fields:
6. Click on OK and wait until the emails and folders have been transferred. Please note that this can take 1h or longer depending on the number of emails and folders. If the connection is interrupted, you can simply repeat the steps, the wizard will then only transfer the emails that have not been copied yet.

2. Transfer the calendar manually

1. In Outlook, go to the calendar view
2. Change the view to List
3. Select all entries (CTRL + A), copy them and paste them into the new account.

3. Transfer contacts manually

Open Contacts, select all contacts and drag them into the new account.

Tasks and notes can also be transferred manually using copy & paste, in the same way as the calendar data.
