external access to database server

How can the database server MySQL be accessed externally?

 

 

  1. Log in to the web administration.
  2. Open your package and log into Plesk.
  3. Click on Databases [1] in the overview on the left and then on User Administration [2] on the right.
  4.  Select the corresponding database user.
  5. Now click on your corresponding setting in the access control.
  6. What are the access data for the database server?
    1. Log in to the web administration.
    2. Click on Services.
    3. Click on the overview of your domain
  7. You can connect to the MySQL server with the IP address or with the server name. The MySQL port is: 3306In our example, the access data are: Server name: sr11.firestorm.ch or 188.40.219.20

          Port: 3306
          Username: test123musterdomain
          Password: yourpassword
