Product categories and keywords

What is the difference between categories and tags?
A category is for a high-level grouping of related products. For example, if you sell clothes, you can create categories for “men”, “women” and “children” clothes.
A keyword (also called a tag) makes it easier to find a product by adding words that a visitor to your site can use in their search. For example, if you are looking for a shirt, you can enter “Shirt”, “T-Shirt” and “Tshirt”.
A product can have only one category, but it can have any number of tags.
Products tagged with a keyword can be displayed as a single group of products on each page of your website using Featured Products.

Categories

Scroll down the product page until you see the Category field. Select NEW from the drop-down menu and enter a category name.

There is no limit to the number of categories you can add, but each product can have only one category at a time.

Key words

Enter the name of a keyword in the Keywords field and press Enter on your keyboard. You can also separate multiple keywords with commas.
