We have reworked domain management in the customer portal. Two big improvements: you can now restore deleted domains yourself, and our domain resellers get a completely renewed panel with one consolidated monthly invoice.

Restore deleted domains yourself

Cancelled the wrong domain by mistake? Missed a renewal and the domain was deleted? That no longer needs to be a drama: from now on you can restore recently deleted domains yourself, directly in the customer portal.

After a deletion, the registry grants a restore period: 40 days for .ch and .li, around 30 days for most other extensions. This is exactly where the new feature comes in: under Domain, Previous Domains you see all your former domains, and for those still restorable a single click is enough. After online payment, the domain is reactivated fully automatically, including one year of renewal. The page transparently shows you until when a restore is possible and what it costs. For domain resellers: new panel, Domain Roby integrated, one invoice per month

There is also a major update for our domain resellers: the former separate reseller system Domain Roby has been fully integrated into the admin.firestorm.ch customer portal. You now manage domains, prices and billing in one place, with one login.

The biggest plus for domain resellers: instead of many single invoices there is now just one consolidated invoice per month. Your domains renew automatically, and on the 1st of the following month you receive one clear invoice covering all renewals, new registrations and transfers of the previous month, grouped by extension with a complete domain list.

The new panel is organised into clear tabs: prices, upcoming renewals, reserved and already invoiced items, and expiring domains, each with counts and searchable. The price list covers all extensions and shows your personal reseller price right next to the list price. Your credit is displayed in your currency, including a coverage indicator for the renewals of the next 30 days and an optional e-mail warning. In the settings tab you control the daily activity notifications and can store a URL that FireStorm calls automatically for every event, ideal for billing your own customers. And the domain overview now has a direct button to your domain reseller package.
