New: Sell Your Domain Straight from the Customer Portal
Got a domain you no longer need? Until now that meant finding a marketplace, creating an account, paying a commission and switching the DNS records by hand. From now on you do it straight from your customer portal: with “Sell this domain” we set up a sale page in one step, switch the DNS records and forward every offer to you.
The “Sell this domain” tile sits next to DNS Server and DNSSEC on every active domain.

We switch the A and AAAA records. Email and all other records stay as they are.
Every offer arrives by email and lands in your private dashboard. You accept or decline.
How it works
1. Open the tile. Log in to the customer portal, open the domain and click “Sell this domain”. You will also find the entry in the tool menu of the domain list.

2. Enter your details and confirm. Enter your asking price and, if you like, a minimum offer, a headline and a description. Important: the DNS records for the domain and www are switched to our sales server. A website running on this domain today will no longer be reachable afterwards. That is why we ask for your explicit consent first.

3. Done. Anyone who visits your domain now sees a simple sale page with your asking price and can make you an offer directly. The link to your dashboard arrives by email.

4. Accept an offer. The dashboard shows all offers at a glance. Buyers’ contact details stay hidden until you accept an offer. When you accept one, we close the others automatically, and both sides receive each other’s contact details for payment and the transfer.

Good to know
Buyer and seller arrange payment and the transfer directly with each other, we do not hold any funds. You receive the auth code for the transfer as soon as you cancel the domain in the customer portal, so cancel it only once the money has arrived. And if you change your mind, you can take the domain off the market in the dashboard at any time.
Who it is for
For everyone who has collected domains they no longer need: the project from back then, the alternative spelling, the domain of a brand that was dropped. Instead of renewing them year after year or simply letting them expire, you put them up for sale without commission and without listing fees.
