Fix Synology File System Errors

If you cannot fix the file errors in Synology through the interface, you can solve the problem as follows:

1. Disable all important services such as mail servers, etc. on the Synology.
2. Log in to the Synology via SSH.
3. Then execute the following bash command.

   synostgvolume --unmount -p /volume1
   vgchange -ay
   fsck.ext3 -yvf /dev/mapper/cachedev_0

    

   By the way, you can list all hard disk pools with “fdisk -l”.
